Pediatric psychology clinic
The
Pediatric Psychology Clinic and Consultation Service (PPCS) applies
behavioral science knowledge and methods to the assessment and treatment
of learning, behavioral and psychosocial challenges associated with
diagnosis, treatment and adaptation to pediatric medical problems. This
approach helps to address the numerous behavioral, psychological, social
and environmental influences on the ability of children and adolescents
and their caregivers to cope with health problems and medical care. As a
result, these individuals are better able to benefit from advanced
diagnostic procedures and medical therapies.
Type of activities:
1-Consultation in the field of children's behavioral problems including: Disobedience and stubbornness, Hyperactivity, Anxiety, isolation, enuresis, nail biting, aggressiveness and...
2-Teaching parenting styles to parents
3-Consultation in the field of academic problems of students
4-Counseling adolescents during puberty
5-To inform parents, psychologists and Teachers from children's intelligence, wechsler intelligence tests are done in this unit and IQ appropriate solutions be offered to the family
Service Hours: Every day except holidays, 7.30 a.m. till 14 p.m./Thursdays 7.30 a.m. till 13 p.m.
